Our primary goal in creating this page was to facilitate meaningful connection and collaboration across disciplines, intersectional identities, social locations, and worldviews. Student researchers are vibrantly diverse and hold a wealth of lived experience(s) that inform our learning and enrich our academic and social contributions – which are one and the same!
Individual paths to ‘academic’ research may vary, and still, we are united in curiously forging new trails in every possible direction. We are democratizing the ‘ivory tower’ because all individuals, groups, and people(s) have valid ways of knowing and understanding the world we share. Further, we know the endeavour of learning, exploring, creating, and understanding is inherent to all people(s)- we are all born researchers!
